PC gaming is having a boom year, helped in no small part by boasting the most accessible interface, the most versatility and the best graphics of any gaming platform. But the platform also has an amazing back catalogue that players are urged to explore.

A lot of them – such as the cyberpunk adventure Deus Ex, the FPS puzzler Portal and the groundbreaking shooter Half Life are available on Steam.
